Svaldbar’s status: four and a half months before departure. The training is in full swing and the physique is taking shape. At my workplace, I found a ski trainer in the fitness room. I’m not quite sure what it’s called, but it provides a good workout. The equipment is slowly falling into place, but it still lacks some small parts.

 

There are many new pieces that need to be tested, also some that have nothing to do with diabetes. A few centimeters of snow fell here in November, and so I had to go out and try the new boots on the skis. It only became a few hundred meters in the garden, because the plan was to take a longer trip in the terrain the next day, but then the flu hit, so I didn’t get to test more before the snow melted again.
